These bricks are lightweight and have a high porosity, providing excellent thermal insulation. They are used in backup lining behind Hot face lining. Moderate Temperature Resistance:

While they can withstand high temperatures, they are not designed for direct contact with the highest temperature zones in furnaces or kilns. They are typically used in the outer layer of insulation.
